EDUCATORS
Our educators are well known artist and teachers within the community that focus on “Process over Product”. This means that they use art as a tool for restoring self-esteem, resiliency and hope, rather than teaching children to produce attractive or technically sound art pieces.

We are looking for educators in creating writing, poetry, painting, drawing, music, theater and dance.

STUDENTS
Empowered Arts Alaska delivers art programs to children through ongoing partnerships with homeless shelters, domestic violence shelters, housing programs, after-school programs and schools serving disadvantaged children in Alaska.

If you are not part of one of these partnerships and would like to join a program please contact us.
VOLUNTEERS
Empowered Arts Alaska pairs children with adult and youth mentors who serve as a positive role model with whom the child has a beneficial, rather than traumatic relationship.
Without our dedicated volunteers, sponsors, and contributors, much of what we accomplish wouldn’t be possible.

There are many ways you can support Empowered Arts Alaska and the children we serve.
